A little history about your MG car…

MG, which stands for Morris Garages, is originally the distributor of Morris vehicles in Oxford. William Morris had owned the company, and then later the ownership was passed on to Lord Nuffield. In 1922, when Cecil Kimber became the company’s general manager, the operation started to modify MG cars for increased handling and speed, lowering the chassis and attaching more sporting bodywork. The renowned octagonal MG badge was born in 1924, when MG manufactured various four-door performance cars.

In 1929, Morris Garages had been renamed as MG Car Company. MG was soon synonymously associated by people with the term “sports car”, and the firm’s road cars were widely publicised through successful racing forays. Unfortunately, Morris had to sell MG and his other private companies to Morris Motors in 1935 due to fiscal reasons.
MG prides itself with cars built on what its customers like the most: speed and fun.
